Succulents aren’t exactly a new trend in bridal flowers, but we’re certainly loving the earthy vibe they can provide for a bouquet. The plant even pops up in “Flowers in Fashion,” a feature associate creative director Jamie Laubhan-Oliver put together for the Spring/Summer 2013 issue of D Weddings. (See the picture to the right.) She asked some of our floral designer friends to create bouquets based on trends in the fashion world. Stylist Brittany Winter pulled accessories to round out the looks and Maxine Helfman captured the photography. The result? Nine couture-worthy arrangements that will compliment a wedding day fashion statement.
