This couple found themselves on an accidental first date at Joe T Garcia’s in September of 2009. A stormy night kept clients from attending their dinner meeting, but the pair quickly realized that the six months they spent trying to deny their attraction was all for nothing.
Two and a half years later, Bailey contemplated a formal proposal, but opted for something more personal. The duo spent an afternoon at Top Golf then joined a few friends for dinner. They finished off the casual evening with a glass of wine at home. Totally unaware of Bailey’s plan, Hilee was stunned and overjoyed to see him down on one knee with a gorgeous ring in his hand. The next evening, Bailey escorted his fiancé to Nick and Sam’s to celebrate their engagement.
Hilee studied marketing at Texas Tech University and is in the process of opening her own business. Bailey received his degree from San Angelo State University and is now a project director for Interstate Restoration & Construction. The pair will wed at the Frontiers of Flight Museum on February 23, 2013.
