There was one little detail that I passed along to my then-boyfriend about a possible future proposal: please do not ask by way of jumbotron or other embarrassing public display. (I know, I know. We had a few discussions about getting married before he popped the question.) I’m not crazy for attention-grabbing scenes, but that’s not true for everyone. Over on FrontBurner, Bradford is reporting a proposal spree at the new Klyde Warren Park. Would you say “yes” if your guy dropped down on one knee in front of hundreds of park goers?

I don’t think I’d like it. I guess it depends how “public” it was. I’m a big Cowboys fan, but I would be horrified if somebody asked me on the biggest screen in the NFL. If it was somewhere like a favorite restaurant, I think I would be less appalled.
A proposal is one of the most dear and intimate moments of a lifetime- that should absolutely take place in an intimate setting that is special and unique to the couple. However, once engaged, it is so fun to be able to celebrate publicly!
