Bridal Buzz

Zoe met Barrett at a fraternity event in the spring of 2010 just as she was preparing to graduate from Texas Tech University with her degree in marketing. A few weeks later, Barrett helped her move into a new apartment in Dallas. The pair spent that summer attending concerts at the Arboretum, sampling new restaurants, and picnicking in Park Cities.

Upon returning from a weekend trip to Austin with some of her girlfriends, Zoe found Barrett waiting outside of her apartment in a limousine with a ring box in his hand. He got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. They spent the afternoon visiting their favorite first date locales, Kosta’s Café and Gooey’s Frozen Yogurt, before their final stop at the Belmont Hotel where Barrett had invited their friends and family to surprise Zoe and celebrate their engagement.

Barrett received his nursing degree from the University of Texas and now works for Northgate Skilled Nursing Center in Irving. Zoe graduated from Texas Tech University and is now with ISN Software Corporation. The pair will wed on January 12^th at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with a reception to follow at Park City Club.
