Chelsea Carpenter has moved her custom wedding invitation business, Southern Fried Paper, to new digs in the Design District at 1810 Market Center Blvd. Southern Fried Paper was formerly housed in The Bell Jar event planning studio, but she needed 1,000 more square feet of production space (all of her invitations are designed and printed there). Chelsea designed the 1,500-square-foot studio using all of the eclectic pieces she’s collected over the years. She says, “I have a weakness for ampersands and vintage frames.” She also decorated with some items from her neighbor, Stella Dallas. Make an appointment to visit Chelsea if you have a wedding date after January 1, as she’s booked through the rest of the year.
