“Provide very detailed driving directions and time estimates to all wedding locations for your guests. I provided directions from the ceremony to the reception, but made the wrong assumption that guests would research directions to the ceremony and plan accordingly. About a third of our guests arrived just moments before the ceremony began, and the wedding coordinator at the church didn’t allow for them to be seated by the ushers before the service began. After I walked down the aisle, there was a bunch of commotion in the back of the church as the rest of the guests were seated.”
