Yes, the hottie standing across from you, pledging to love you for the rest of your lives is right up there at the top of the list, but the gown? Well, it’s a close tie in my opinion. Bottom line, the dress is kind of a big deal, so it’s important to choose wisely. Fortunately, StarDust has added a third location to its wedding gown empire for your perusing. In addition to StarDust Celebrations and Lulu’s Bridal Boutique, there’s now even more of a selection of gorgeous gowns with their opening of A Bridal Closet at The Shops at Willow Bend. The swanky new shop carries brands such as Alvina Valenta, Jim Hjelm, Maggie Sottero, St. Pucchi, Elie Saab, Watters, and the list goes on for miles. They also carry attire for your entire bridal party, from bridesmaids to flower girls. Bonus: they offer off-the-rack.

I read this article and made a beeline to Willow Bend… what a disappointment! The gowns are all (hushed voice) “sample dresses.” Which means that the sales associates think they are FABulous, yet really they are pricy pre-touched gowns that are only going to fit a “small” group of brides. Do yourself a favor and make an appoinment at a full service salon. Like the article says, “the dress is kind of a big deal,” so be sure to enjoy the whole experience.
